Hi! We’re so happy you’re here

  • Jane Armitage

    FOUNDER

Jane is a lifelong animal rescuer and advocate. One of her earliest memories is of rescuing Otra, a kitten she found in the parking lot of a local grocery store. Over the years Jane brought home many stray cats and dogs, and gave each one a loving home. Sonny’s Spot is a way to honor all of the pets who added and continue to add love to her life, and to encourage others to take action so all animals find the love they deserve.

  • Isabella Armitage

    Communications Coordinator

My love of animals began as a newborn when I met our rescue cat, Boo Boo. Over the years I have welcomed many cats and dogs in my home, and each one holds a special place in my heart. I am excited to be the Communications Coordinator for Sonny’s Spot Foundation and to have the opportunity to educate others on the importance of spaying and neutering. I am honored to be a voice for all animals and through our work, save lives.

  • Ana Armitage

    Co-Founder

Ana has a special place in her heart for the animals who are often overlooked. She is especially passionate about giving the seniors a home where they are safe and loved during their sunset years. These days at home, her elderly dog and one-eyed cat are the center of her universe and a constant reminder of why this work means so much to her.
